Cynthia Sympa is the author of the Living With series, a collection of compassionate, practical guides designed to help people navigate some of life’s most common struggles—anxiety, stress, depression, insomnia, and more.
She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a focus on behavioral health and later completed additional coursework in counseling and wellness education.
Over the years, Cynthia has combined her academic knowledge with real-world experience, volunteering at community therapy clinics and wellness centers, where she supported individuals coping with anxiety, stress, and mood-related challenges. Her volunteer work exposed her to the everyday struggles that people face—burnout at work, sleepless nights, cycles of negative thinking, and the quiet weight of depression.
Rather than aiming to impress with clinical jargon or distant theory, Cynthia built her series on the belief that self-help should feel like a conversation with a compassionate friend. Her approachable style makes complex psychological concepts easy to understand and apply, without sacrificing depth.
Her motivation for writing the Living With series came from a growing concern she noticed: many people experience these struggles silently, without knowing where to begin or feeling comfortable seeking professional help. Cynthia’s goal is to provide a gentle first step toward healing—one that balances education, practical strategies, and encouragement.
